ORLEANS HOME STAGING PROJECT ...

DARLENE'S ORLEANS HOME ...

The initial consult was about an hour and work (with the help of the client was 2 hours). I do not have the credentials as a home stager but being a former Realtor I know that "pretty sells" ... this seller didn't need a lot of help - just a little tweak.

The entire home was very well cared for ... only a new mailbox was added to freshen up the entrance. Don't forget the outside of your house when selling ... you want your house to say "come on in" NOT "keep on driving"
The foyer was a little on the cold side ... a throw rug, pillow and wall art were added to welcome potential buyers.

The seller originally had 3 random chairs in the living room ... nothing else!!! This gorgeous leather cherry furniture was in the unfinished basement along with the glass top tables and lamps!

Soft sheers and some accessories were added once the furniture was moved from the basement.

The dining room looked a little tired ... a mirror and some plants were added for good feng shui.

Now the living room and dining room compliment each other for a more cohesive look.
Brushed nickel knobs replaced wooden ones on the cabinetry.

Extra chairs were removed for more room in the eating area.
A few minor tweaks in the family room off the kitchen.
The master was already looking good ... nothing done in here!
Love the delicious chocolate brown the seller painted in the master ensuite. Wooden knobs were replaced with brushed nickel for a bit of sparkle.
Bedroom 2 was organized and luxurious pillows were added to compliment the existing quilt.

The seller did not want to paint bedroom 3 ... black and white prints were hung to try and tone down the acid green. (Prints courtesy the sellers talented daughter)

Bedroom 4 was just cleaned up and organized ...
The main bath was sterile looking ... brushed nickel knobs, artwork, funky new shower curtain and a few choice accessories warmed it up.
