Before I started, this room was painted in a dull yellow and baby poop brown. The client already had previously purchased a periwinkle blue paint ... then the ideas started flowing! The moldings were a dingy cream colour so I offered that a bright white would look better ... maybe paint out the furniture in a rich black ... perhaps some wallpaper and a bold window covering too ... this was gonna be fun!

Definitely a new light fixture needed - something sparkly perhaps? Ditch the old filing cabinet ...

The client decided she didn't want this desk but to have a counter top installed in the closet as a work space.

There was water damage behind the wall ... once it was repaired the client couldn't quite match the paint ... no biggie - I was there to make it look fabulous :)

This pretty much useless closet was soon to be a great little study nook.

The walls were in poor shape - there's that baby poop brown!

Gettin' started!

Holes filled, sanded, primed and ready for fabulousness!

All the furniture was painted out with a black melamine paint (2 book shelves and the main desk).

So sparkly and added a great energy to the room.

The home stretch is in sight!

White cotton curtains with a bold gold and black pattern ... the wallpaper compliments it well!

Study nook under way! It was wallpapered throughout - looks great!

All finished and ready for the client's work stuff and accessories.

Had enough wallpaper to do the back of the shelf unit!

Home office - DONE!
